Mengedda is a ruined city in the heart of the Mengedda Plains, famed as the battleground where Anaxophus V struck down the No-God with the Heron Spear in 2155.[1]

The name of Megedda resembles that of the plains of Megiddo. According to Christian tradition, this real-world location was the place of the first and last battle in history. The word and idea of Armageddon derives from the same root.
