The Unholy Consult is the third and final novel in the Aspect-Emperor trilogy and the sixth in the Second Apocalypse series.
On March 8th 2014, R. Scott Bakker announced that he finished the book and delivered it to his agent. No publication date has been announced, but the book is likely to be released early 2015.
